We live in a beautiful area, do we not? A couple of weeks ago, my friend Colleen was up from Seattle to join me at the Surrey International Writers Conference. We stayed at my place this time due to lack of funds, but it was a treat for Colleen to see where I live. We drove down Eastern Drive and there were those gorgeous mountains in the distance. It directly brought Colleen in mind of a favourite Arrogant Worms song…. “Our mountains are very pointy…” and we had a great giggle.
She was also blown away by all the trees changing colours, and of course by Port Coquitlam’s lovely downtown area with its small town feel. It was very nice to have her here; such an appreciative guest. Also because she spent an entire day critiquing my novel for me…
Anyhow, thanks for the pics, even though they’re a little old now. I remember when the mountains looked like this, and I’ll see them that way again in a matter of weeks.
